For
family fun and fantastic weather - Littlehampton is
hard to beat. A Blue Flag and Quality Coast Awards, harbour
and a stunning riverside development make Littlehampton
a seaside town with space, style and lots of sunshine.
Littlehampton is lucky to have two contrasting beaches
to offer visitors. The East Beach is
traditional sand and shingle and perfect for families. And the West Beach is more tranquil with abundant wildflowers and sand dunes on the shingle beach.

The East Bank Riverside Development includes
the Look & Sea! Visitor centre, the Littlehampton
Visitor Information Centre, a Youth hostel and a
new lifeboat station (with a boathouse tour available
on request!). The riverside walkway links
the seafront with the East Bank and the town centre.
Head for the Look & Sea! Visitor Centre for a delightful café overlooking the river,
interactive maritime exhibition displays, games and
fantastic views from the Tower across the River Arun,
out to sea and northwards to Arundel.
On the seafront is Harbour Park amusement
centre – an all-weather adventure village offering
family fun for visitors of all ages. A Seafront
Promenade Train runs between Coastguards Tower
and Norfolk Gardens. Littlehampton Miniature Railway runs between
Mewsbrook Park and Norfolk Gardens.
Boats can be chartered from the moorings at Littlehampton
Marina to access excellent fishing and scuba
diving.

There is a fantastic range of water and land based
activities – guaranteed to exhilarate and exhaust
all the family! Try indoor swimming, badminton and squash
at the Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre,
tennis, bowls & golfing options - from a Seaside
Links course to putting, pitch & putt, adventure
& crazy golf. Visit the Oyster Pond Boating Lake where you can hire a pedal boat. For the really adventurous, try kite-surfing
off the shores of Littlehampton for the ultimate buzz.

Mewsbrook Park, just off Littlehampton seafront has been constantly receiving the Green Flag award since 2005. The national standard for parks and open spaces is given only to the best parks in England in recognition of its safe, clean environment and high level of garden management. |
Walking and cycling are great ways to appreciate all that Littlehampton has to offer. Enjoy a stroll along the seafront or head inland
along the riverside for a cross country walk to Arundel and the South
Downs.
The Town Centre offers a variety of
shops, restaurants and bars. For entertainment, pop
into the seafront Windmill Theatre & Cinema
